Orthotic and Prosthetic Solutions is pleased to announce that Quality Outcomes Inc. has asked them to become one of twenty five beta test sites for their nation wide evidence based practice sites. This relationship was founded through a chance encounter. An American Board for Certification credientialling representative was in Lincoln Nebraska evaluating local Orthotic and Prosthetic facilities. Upon reviewing our policies and procedures and descovering our evidence based practices, he recommended Orthotic and Prosthetic Solutions to Quality Outcomes due to our innovative team approach and the desire to move Orthotics and Prosthetics in a different direction. The ability to treat a patient as a whole versus providing them with a product shows the true value of our team approach. We felt that Quality Outcomes would make a great teammate as we move forward. Quality Outcomes is described below.
Quality Outcomes was founded to assist various medical practitioners in their respective company’s accreditation process through use of our proprietary guideline manuals and consultation. Additionally, our focus is to offer outcomes through data collection and reporting on a comparative basis to companies as part of an evidence-based practice.
The founders, advisors, and consultants of Quality Outcomes have experience ranging from small family-owned facilities to hospital-based operations. Our staff and consulting resource personnel have backgrounds in medical specialties, engineering, technology, orthotics, prosthetics, physical therapy, and a variety of business areas. Several of our founders participated in both the writing of the ABC Patient Care Standards and the assessment of compliance with the standards. As our scope of operation increases, more specialists will become available through us.
